ITINERARY:

Day 1 – Srinagar- Arrive

On arrival at the Srinagar airport and transfer to Houseboat. Visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughal, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating. With a backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan Mountains, the gardens boast of green turfs, blooming flowers and cascading water fountainsIn evening Shikara ride in world famous Dal Lake. Later return houseboat and overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 2 – Srinagar – Pahalgam

After Breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via PampAore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 3 – Pahalgam – Katra

After breakfast you will be transferred to Katra via Patnitop. Check In Hotel Overnight stay at Hotel in Katra.

Day 4 – Katra – Patnitop

After breakfast transfer to Helipad to catch the chopper for Shanjichat. From here will start our trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, you have to show here your return boarding pass gets priority Darshan at the Shrine. After Darshan back to Shanjichat to catch the chopper for Katra. Then drive to Patnitop. Overnight at hotel in Patnitop.

Day 5 – Patnitop – Srinagar

After Breakfast, proceed to Srinagar from Patnitop. Patnitop is a hill top tourist location in Udhampur district on the National Highway 1A, on the way from Udhampur to Srinagar. Patnitop is a distortion of the original name of “Patan Da Talab” meaning “Pond of the Princess”. Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar.

Day 6 – Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar

After breakfast proceeds to full day excursion of Sonamarg which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. Sonamarg also called Meadows of Gold is located at a height of 2692 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Overnight Stay in the Srinagar hotel.

Day 7 – Srinagar  – Gulmarg

After breakfast in the morning, proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. Later, begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes ropeway). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding. Stay overnight at hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 8 – Sonamarg – Srinagar Drop

Early in the morning right after breakfast you will be transferred to your waiting vehicle in which you will be traveling onboard to the airport for your flight home.
